About us
Built on three decades of caring for our neighbors.
AHS Healthcare began as a small community clinic. Today we operate an integrated network of primary care, specialty practices, behavioral health centers, and skilled nursing facilities — still guided by the same idea: care that treats every person as a whole.
Mission
To deliver compassionate, coordinated, and equitable healthcare to every community we serve.
Vision
A healthcare system where quality, dignity, and access are never traded against each other.
Values
Integrity. Empathy. Excellence. Stewardship. And the belief that listening is medicine.
Our story
Founded in 1989 by a group of physicians frustrated with a fragmented system, AHS set out to prove that healthcare could be both excellent and personal.
We started with one primary care clinic, an open phone line, and a promise: no patient is a number. That promise scaled. Today, AHS serves over 120,000 patients each year across 42 locations, with hundreds of physicians, nurses, therapists, and care navigators who share the founders' original conviction.
Our integrated model — primary care, specialty, behavioral health, and post-acute under one coordinated umbrella — has become a national reference for value-based care.
